Reasons to Plan Weddings in Provence
Provence rests in the southeastern part of France, and a wedding in south of France is a dream for many. The region was ruled by the Roman Empire and was the first Roman province. It was known as ‘Provincia Romana’ back in the day, and the name has now evolved into Provence.
Famous for its landscapes, resort towns, pleasant climate, and cultural festivities, Provence is quite a heaven on Earth for lovers ready to tie their know.
Stunning & Diverse Landscapes
Provence has everything from the stunning Southern Alps to serene Camargue plains to lush olive groves to pretty lavender fields to calming pine forests to rolling vineyards. It has Cote d’Azur to the south, where Cannes and Saint-Tropez outline the coast.
If you are someone who has always wanted a scenic wedding, you’ll have plenty of wedding venues Provence to choose from.
Pleasant, Sunny Weather
Florence has really nice, sunny weather for most of the year. Temperatures rise to around 30°C (86°F) in the summers and tend to drop low to about 15°C (59°F) in winter. Overall, the Mediterranean climate is quite pleasant and really suitable for weddings and celebrations. You can enjoy the sun and the cool breeze with your love hand in hand and have amazing photographs too.
Tons of Alluring Venues
Provence has not one, not two, not even three but scores of alluring venues. In fact, the region is laced with picturesque views and places that make amazing wedding venues. From lavish country estates to grand chateaus to meadows to sea views- you have got it all in Provence.
From amongst the huge treasure trove of locations, you’ll find quite a number of amazing wedding venues, in Provence. Whether you are a coastline fan or a countryside enthusiast, you’ll find something to fit
Plus its prime location means you can choose between either the beautiful coastline or pretty rolling countryside hills as the ideal spot for your wedding day.
Fascinating Culture with Exciting Activities
We love the authenticity in the air in Provence. It has a very unique culture that everyone finds embracing and exciting. So you’re going to have quite a fun time there.
Another thing we appreciate about Florence is that there is a lot to do there before or after your wedding festivities. You and your better-half-to-be can explore the antique markets famous in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, or even tour them with your guests.
How about some romantic picnics in the lavender fields? Or going for hot air ballooning with your spouse-to-be, or even with friends and family? Not just that, but there’s classic car driving through Luberon and many other things to do there. So a Provence wedding will be a complete entertainment experience for you.
Wide Range of Food Options
Good food in a wedding is what really completes it. Of course, no denying the importance of your love by your side. 😉
When it comes to food, Provence doesn’t cease to amaze us. You’ll find quite a huge range of food options there. The region is famous for some of its mouth-watering delicacies such as Daube, ratatouille, Bouillabaisse, Brandade de Morue, Pissaladiere, and Escabeche. You can select a decent menu for your wedding reception and party, and give your guests a delicious Provence experience.
