Casamiento Casa Santo Domingo
Cori & Miguel are the kind of people who have hundreds of guests at their wedding, yet still make you feel like the most important person in the room. They are two of the sweetest and most genuine people we have ever met, no wonder their wedding felt like an intimate hangout and a music festival all at the same time. They decided to fly all the way from Miami to have their destination wedding at the famous Hotel Casa Santo Domingo.
They decided to opt for the traditional route of seeing each other at the ceremony for the first time, so we took advantage and did an emotional first look with her dad and her honorary girlfriends first. Though we were limited with movement, Santo Domingo lent multiple gorgeous backdrops for photos, like the garden just in front of the main entrance.
Emotive Catholic ceremony in the capilla of Santo Domingo was held just as the sun went down, providing a gorgeous afternoon light for the big moment. As they shared their first kiss, the crowd of hundreds of guests from abroad went wild. We spent cocktail hour walking a block into Antigua for some sunset photos just as Volcan Agua peeked out from behind the clouds.
The reception was absolutely next level. The entire convention center was filled with people, and the energy filled the room with everyone anxious to get the party started. This wedding reception did not disappoint, and included everything from CO2 guns, a sushi bar, and a gelato truck. Literally every taste was met.
We cannot thank these two for their trust and kindness, their wedding was unforgettable and we only have them to thank for letting us document their love story.
