Destination Wedding Lake Atitlan // This day was so magical. Take two amazing people, add one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and an incredible December sunset, and you have a perfect wedding day. Initially, we met Jose & Shae at a small restaurant in Jaibalito and immediately hit it off. They were traveling south from the US and stopped in Santa Cruz for an extended break from their travels. Lake Atitlán had enchanted them, so they decided that it would be an option for their wedding ceremony. We met up a few other times during their time here and always seemed to talk for hours about love, travel and life. Right away we knew that these two were amazing human beings. When they told us about their plans to get married at Hotel Isla Verde, there was no way we could miss this destination wedding Lake Atitlan. The weather was perfect, the sky was clear and the bride and groom looked amazing. Shae & Jose had their closest friends and family share their day with them. The ceremony took place at sunset looking over Lake Atitlán. Melissa even got a quick minute to run up the mountainside to take a photo from above to capture the entire beauty of this place. After the ceremony, everyone celebrated in the beautiful gardens of Isla Verde. It was such a relaxing, fun day that it left us with awesome new friends and some amazing images. We dare you to finish looking at these photos and without a smile on your face 🙂 Destination Wedding Lake Atitlan
