About usGet to know us better

Hi! We are Daniel and Melissa (or Dani & Mishka!), a married couple from Spain and the USA. Although we are from two different countries, when we first started dating around 7 years ago we tried to look for a neutral place to live and that’s how we landed ourselves in Guatemala. We immediately fell in love with Guatemala’s people and landscapes and we began our life on Lake Atitlan. We lived on the lake for 5 years before moving to Antigua in 2017, to be where most of the wedding action happens 🙂

We’ll spare you the details of how we ended up in Guatemala but we’d love to tell you more in person.  We both share a passion for tasty food, travel, meeting people, cinema & TV shows. Most of all we both like to tell stories.  Stories of love, struggle, divine intervention, and even the smallest moments that occur in life. For us, these stories are what exemplify true beauty, and photography is our way of making them stay beautiful.

We want your reflection of your wedding day to be through our lens, reminding you of the smallest details and the fleeting emotions that made your wedding day the best and most exciting day of your life. Our goal is to create genuine, honest images of your special day that you will cherish for a lifetime.

We are based in Antigua, Guatemala, but we have family in Nebraska, San Francisco & Spain, and we are always looking for excuses to go back 🙂 We would also love for you to take us to other cool locations, so don’t hesitate & send us an email for pricing & packages at info@daniellopezperez.com.
